20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
20:1 또 내가 보니, 한 천사가 하늘에서 내려오는데, 그의 손에는 끝없이 깊은 구렁의 열쇠와 큰 쇠사슬을 가졌더라.
20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
20:2 그가 그 용을 잡으니, 곧 마귀요 사탄인 옛 뱀이라. 그를 천 년 동안 묶어 두니
20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
20:3 그를 끝없이 깊은 구렁에 던져서 가두고 그 위에 봉인하여 천 년이 찰 때까지는 민족들을 다시는 미혹하지 못하게 하더라. 그 후에는 그가 반드시 잠시 동안 풀려나게 되리라.
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
20:4 또 내가 보좌들을 보니, 그들이 그 위에 앉았는데 심판이 그들에게 주어졌더라. 또 예수에 대한 증거와 하나님의 말씀으로 인하여 목베임을 당한 사람들의 혼들도 보았는데, 그들은 그 짐승에게나 그 형상에게 경배하지 아니하였을 뿐만 아니라 그의 표를 그들의 이마 위에나 손에도 받지 아니하였더라. 그러므로 그들은 살아서 그리스도와 함께 천 년을 통치하더라.
20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection.
20:5 그러나 죽은 자들 가운데서 그 나머지는 천 년이 끝날 때까지 다시 살지 못하리라. 이것이 첫 번째 부활이라.
20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
20:6 첫 번째 부활에 참여하는 자는 복되고 거룩하도다. 둘째 사망이 그들을 다스리는 권세가 없고 오히려 그들이 하나님과 그리스도의 제사장들이 되어 천 년 동안 그와 함께 통치하리라.
20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
20:7 그 천 년이 끝나면 사탄이 그의 감옥에서 풀려나
20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.
20:8 땅의 사방에 있는 민족들, 곧 곡과 마곡을 미혹하려고 나가서 그들을 함께 모아 전쟁을 일으키리니 그 수가 바다의 모래 같으리라.
20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
20:9 그들이 땅의 넓은 데로 올라가서 성도들의 진영과 사랑하시는 도성을 포위하니, 하늘에서 불이 하나님께로부터 내려와 그들을 삼켜 버리더라.
20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
20:10 그들을 미혹하던 마귀가 불과 유황 못에 던져지니 그 곳에는 그 짐승과 거짓 선지자도 있어 영원 무궁토록 밤낮 고통을 받으리라.
20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
20:11 또 내가 큰 백보좌와 그 위에 앉으신 분을 보니, 그의 면전에서 땅과 하늘이 사라졌고 그들의 설 자리도 보이지 않더라.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
20:12 또 내가 죽은 자들을 보니, 작은 자나 큰 자나 하나님 앞에 서 있는데, 책들이 펴져 있으며 또 다른 책도 펴져 있는데 그것은 생명의 책이라. 죽은 자들은 자기들의 행위에 따라 그 책들에 기록된 대로 심판을 받더라.
20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
20:13 바다도 그 안에 있던 죽은 자들을 넘겨주고 또 사망과 지옥도 그들 안에 있던 죽은 자들을 넘겨주니 그들이 각자 자기들의 행위에 따라 심판을 받으며
20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:14 사망과 지옥도 불못에 던져지니 이것이 둘째 사망이라.
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
20:15 누구든지 생명의 책에 기록되지 않은 자는 불못에 던져지더라.

20:15 누구든지 생명의 책에 기록되지 않은 자는 불못에 던져지더라.
