7:1 Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
7:1 그때 주께서 그의 모든 말씀을 백성에게 들려 주기를 마치시고 카퍼나움으로 들어가시니라.
7:2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
7:2 그때 어떤 백부장에게 총애를 받는 종이 있었는데 그가 병들어 죽게 되었더라.
7:3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
7:3 그런데 그가 예수에 관해 듣고 유대인의 장로들을 주께 보내어, 오셔서 그의 종을 치유시켜 주시기를 간청하니
7:4 And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
7:4 그들이 예수께 와서 간절히 청하며 말씀드리기를 "그 백부장에게는 이 일을 해 줄 만 하나이다.
7:5 For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
7:5 그는 우리 민족을 사랑하며 또 우리를 위하여 회당을 지어 주었나이다."라고 하니
7:6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
7:6 예수께서 그들과 함께 가셔서 그 집에서 그리 멀지 않은 곳에 이르렀는데 그 백부장이 자기 친구들을 주께 보내어 말씀드리기를 "주여, 수고하지 마옵소서. 주께서 내 지붕 아래로 오시는 것을 내가 감당할 수 없나이다.
7:7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
7:7 나는 내 자신이 주 앞에 나아가는 것도 합당치 못하다고 생각하였나이다. 그러므로 한 말씀만 하옵소서. 그러면 내 종이 나을 것이옵니다.
7:8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth [it].
7:8 나도 남의 지휘 아래 있고 내 수하에도 병사들이 있어서 내가 이 사람더러 '가라.' 하면 가고, 저 사람더러 '오라.' 하면 오나이다. 또 내 종더러 '이것을 하라.' 하면 그렇게 하나이다."라고 하니
7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
7:9 예수께서 이런 일을 들으시고 그를 놀라워하시며 자기를 따르는 무리를 돌아보며 말씀하시기를 "내가 너희에게 말하노니, 이스라엘 중에서 이처럼 큰 믿음을 본 적이 없노니, 결코 없도다."고 하시더라.
7:10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.
7:10 그리하여 보냈던 친구들이 집에 돌아와서 보니 병들었던 종이 온전하여졌더라.
7:11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
7:11 그 다음날 주께서 나인이라는 성읍에 가시는데 많은 제자와 많은 사람들이 주와 동행하더라.
7:12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
7:12 주께서 성문 가까이 이르렀는데, 보라, 사람들이 어떤 죽은 자를 메고 나오는데 그는 자기 어머니에게는 외아들이며 그 여인은 과부더라. 그 성읍에 사는 많은 사람들이 그녀와 함께 있더라.
7:13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
7:13 주께서 그 여인을 보신 후 가엾게 여기셔서 그 여인에게 말씀하시기를 "울지 말라."고 하시고
7:14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare [him] stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
7:14 가까이 가셔서 그 관에 손을 대시니 운구하는 자들이 멈추는지라. 주께서 말씀하시기를 "젊은이여, 내가 너에게 말하노니 일어나라."고 하시니
7:15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
7:15 그 죽은 사람이 앉아서 말하기 시작하더라. 주께서 그를 그의 어머니에게 돌려주시니
7:16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
7:16 모든 사람이 두려움에 사로잡혀 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 말하기를 "한 위대한 선지자가 우리 가운데 일어나셨으며 또 하나님께서 자기 백성을 찾아오셨도다."라고 하더라.
7:17 And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.
7:17 주에 관한 이 소문이 온 유대와 온 지방에 두루 퍼지더라.
7:18 And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.
7:18 그때 요한의 제자들이 요한에게 이런 모든 일에 관하여 전하니라.
7:19 And John calling [unto him] two of his disciples sent [them] to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
7:19 요한이 자기 제자 가운데 둘을 불러서 예수께 보내며 말하기를 "당신이 오실 그 분이니이까? 아니면 우리가 또 다른 분을 기다려야 하리이까?"라고 묻게 하니
7:20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
7:20 그 사람들이 주께 와서 말씀드리기를 "침례인 요한이 우리를 당신께 보내면서 말하기를 '당신이 오실 그 분이니이까? 아니면 우리가 또 다른 분을 기다려야 하리이까?'라고 묻더이다." 하니
7:21 And in that same hour he cured many of [their] infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many [that were] blind he gave sight.
7:21 바로 그 시간에 주께서 병약함과 전염병과 악령에 사로잡힌 많은 사람들을 고쳐 주시고 또 많은 소경도 보게 해 주시더라.
7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
7:22 그때 예수께서 대답하여 그들에게 말씀하시기를 "가서 너희가 보고 들은 일들을 요한에게 전하라. 즉 소경들이 보고, 절름발이들이 걸으며, 문둥병자들이 깨끗해지고, 귀머거리들이 들으며, 죽은 자들이 일으켜지고, 가난한 자들에게 복음이 전파된다 하라.
7:23 And blessed is [he], whosoever shall not be offended in me.
7:23 나로 인하여 실족하지 않는 자는 복이 있도다."라고 하시더라.
7:24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
7:24 요한이 보낸 자들이 떠난 후에 주께서 무리에게 요한에 관하여 말씀하기 시작하시더라. "너희가 무엇을 보려고 광야에 나갔더냐? 바람에 흔들리는 갈대더냐?
7:25 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.
7:25 아니면 무엇을 보려고 나갔더냐? 부드러운 옷을 입은 사람이더냐? 보라, 좋은 옷을 입고 호화스럽게 사는 사람들은 궁중에 있느니라.
7:26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
7:26 그러면 너희가 무엇을 보려고 나갔더냐? 선지자더냐? 그렇다. 내가 너희에게 말하노니 선지자보다 더 훌륭한 사람이니라.
7:27 This is [he], of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
7:27 이것이 그에 관하여 기록된 것이니 '보라, 내가 나의 사자를 네 면전에 보내노니 그가 네 앞서 너의 길을 예비하리라.'고 하였느니라.
7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
7:28 내가 너희에게 말하노니 여인에게서 난 사람 가운데 침례인 요한보다 더 큰 선지자는 없느니라. 그러나 하나님의 나라에서는 가장 작은 자일지라도 그보다 더 크니라."고 하시더라.
7:29 And all the people that heard [him], and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
7:29 그 말을 들은 모든 백성과 세리들은 요한의 침례로 침례를 받았기에 하나님을 의로우시다고 하더라.
7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
7:30 그러나 바리새인들과 율법사들은 요한에게서 침례를 받지 않았으므로 자신들을 거슬러 하나님의 뜻을 배척하더라.
7:31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
7:31 또 주께서 말씀하시기를 "그러므로 내가 이 세대의 사람들을 무엇에다 비교할까? 그들은 무엇과 같을까?
7:32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
7:32 그들은 장터에 앉아 있는 어린 아이들이 서로 부르며 말하기를 '우리가 너희를 향해 피리를 불어도 너희가 춤을 추지 아니하며 우리가 너희를 향해 애통하여도 너희가 울지 아니하였도다.' 함과 같으니라.
7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
7:33 침례인 요한이 와서 빵도 먹지 않고 포도주도 마시지 아니하므로 너희가 말하기를 '그가 마귀들렸다.' 하고
7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
7:34 인자가 와서 먹고 마시니 너희는 말하기를 '보라, 탐식하는 자요, 술을 즐기는 자며, 세리들과 죄인들의 친구로다!' 하는도다.
7:35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.
7:35 그러나 지혜는 자기의 모든 자녀들로 인하여 옳다고 인정을 받느니라."고 하시더라.
7:36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
7:36 그때 바리새인 중에서 한 사람이 자기와 함께 음식을 들자고 주께 청하니 주께서 그 바리새인의 집에 들어가서 식사하려고 앉으시더라.
7:37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
7:37 그런데, 보라, 그 성읍에 죄인인 한 여인이 있었는데 그녀가 예수께서 그 바리새인의 집에서 음식을 드신다는 것을 알고 향유가 든 옥합을 가지고 와서
7:38 And stood at his feet behind [him] weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the ointment.
7:38 주의 뒤로 와 발 곁에 서서 울며 눈물로 주의 발을 씻기기 시작하며 자기 머리카락으로 닦아내고, 또 주의 발에 입을 맞추며 향유를 붓더라.
7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw [it], he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
7:39 주를 초대한 바리새인이 이 광경을 보고 속으로 말하기를 "만일 이 분이 선지자라면 자기를 만지는 여인이 누구이며 어떤 여인인가를 알았으리라. 이는 그 여인이 죄인이기 때문이라."고 하더라.
7:40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
7:40 예수께서 그에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를 "시몬아, 내가 너에게 할 말이 있노라."고 하니, 그가 말하기를 "선생님, 말씀하소서."라고 하더라.
7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
7:41 "빚을 주는 어떤 사람에게 빚진 자 둘이 있었는데, 한 사람은 오백 데나리온을 꾸었고 또 다른 사람은 오십 데나리온을 꾸었더라.
7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
7:42 그러나 그들이 갚을 것이 없으므로 그가 둘 다 탕감해 주었더라. 그러므로 그들 중 누가 그를 더 사랑하겠는가 내게 말하라."고 하시니
7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that [he], to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
7:43 시몬이 대답하여 말하기를 "내 생각에는 더 많이 탕감받은 그 사람이니이다."라고 하니, 그에게 말씀하시기를 "네가 옳게 판단하였도다."라고 하시더라.
7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head.
7:44 그때 주께서 그 여인을 돌아보시며 시몬에게 말씀하시기를 "네가 이 여인을 보느냐? 내가 너의 집에 들어올 때 너는 나에게 발 씻을 물도 주지 아니하였으나 이 여인은 눈물로 내 발을 씻고 자기 머리카락으로 닦아내었느니라.
7:45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
7:45 너는 나에게 입맞추지 아니하였으나 이 여인은 내가 들어올 때부터 내 발에 입맞추는 것을 쉬지 아니하였느니라.
7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
7:46 너는 내 머리에 기름도 붓지 아니하였으나 이 여인은 내 발에 향유를 부었느니라.
7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, [the same] loveth little.
7:47 그러므로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 그 여인의 많은 죄들이 용서받았느니라. 이는 그 여인이 많이 사랑함이라. 그러나 적게 용서함을 받은 자는 사랑도 적게 하느니라."고 하시며
7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
7:48 또 그 여인에게 말씀하시기를 "네 죄들이 용서되었노라."고 하시더라.
7:49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
7:49 그때 주와 함께 앉아 식사하던 사람들이 속으로 말하기를 "이 사람이 누구이기에 죄들도 용서하는가?"라고 하더라.
7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
7:50 그러나 주께서 그 여인에게 말씀하시기를 "네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라."고 하시더라.

7:32 그들은 장터에 앉아 있는 어린 아이들이 서로 부르며 말하기를 '우리가 너희를 향해 피리를 불어도 너희가 춤을 추지 아니하며 우리가 너희를 향해 애통하여도 너희가 울지 아니하였도다.' 함과 같으니라.
7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
7:33 침례인 요한이 와서 빵도 먹지 않고 포도주도 마시지 아니하므로 너희가 말하기를 '그가 마귀들렸다.' 하고
7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
7:34 인자가 와서 먹고 마시니 너희는 말하기를 '보라, 탐식하는 자요, 술을 즐기는 자며, 세리들과 죄인들의 친구로다!' 하는도다.
7:35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.
7:35 그러나 지혜는 자기의 모든 자녀들로 인하여 옳다고 인정을 받느니라."고 하시더라.
7:36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
7:36 그때 바리새인 중에서 한 사람이 자기와 함께 음식을 들자고 주께 청하니 주께서 그 바리새인의 집에 들어가서 식사하려고 앉으시더라.
7:37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
7:37 그런데, 보라, 그 성읍에 죄인인 한 여인이 있었는데 그녀가 예수께서 그 바리새인의 집에서 음식을 드신다는 것을 알고 향유가 든 옥합을 가지고 와서
7:38 And stood at his feet behind [him] weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the ointment.
7:38 주의 뒤로 와 발 곁에 서서 울며 눈물로 주의 발을 씻기기 시작하며 자기 머리카락으로 닦아내고, 또 주의 발에 입을 맞추며 향유를 붓더라.
7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw [it], he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
7:39 주를 초대한 바리새인이 이 광경을 보고 속으로 말하기를 "만일 이 분이 선지자라면 자기를 만지는 여인이 누구이며 어떤 여인인가를 알았으리라. 이는 그 여인이 죄인이기 때문이라."고 하더라.
7:40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
7:40 예수께서 그에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를 "시몬아, 내가 너에게 할 말이 있노라."고 하니, 그가 말하기를 "선생님, 말씀하소서."라고 하더라.
7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
7:41 "빚을 주는 어떤 사람에게 빚진 자 둘이 있었는데, 한 사람은 오백 데나리온을 꾸었고 또 다른 사람은 오십 데나리온을 꾸었더라.
7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
7:42 그러나 그들이 갚을 것이 없으므로 그가 둘 다 탕감해 주었더라. 그러므로 그들 중 누가 그를 더 사랑하겠는가 내게 말하라."고 하시니
7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that [he], to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
7:43 시몬이 대답하여 말하기를 "내 생각에는 더 많이 탕감받은 그 사람이니이다."라고 하니, 그에게 말씀하시기를 "네가 옳게 판단하였도다."라고 하시더라.
7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head.
7:44 그때 주께서 그 여인을 돌아보시며 시몬에게 말씀하시기를 "네가 이 여인을 보느냐? 내가 너의 집에 들어올 때 너는 나에게 발 씻을 물도 주지 아니하였으나 이 여인은 눈물로 내 발을 씻고 자기 머리카락으로 닦아내었느니라.
7:45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
7:45 너는 나에게 입맞추지 아니하였으나 이 여인은 내가 들어올 때부터 내 발에 입맞추는 것을 쉬지 아니하였느니라.
7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
7:46 너는 내 머리에 기름도 붓지 아니하였으나 이 여인은 내 발에 향유를 부었느니라.
7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, [the same] loveth little.
7:47 그러므로 내가 너에게 말하노니, 그 여인의 많은 죄들이 용서받았느니라. 이는 그 여인이 많이 사랑함이라. 그러나 적게 용서함을 받은 자는 사랑도 적게 하느니라."고 하시며
7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
7:48 또 그 여인에게 말씀하시기를 "네 죄들이 용서되었노라."고 하시더라.
7:49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
7:49 그때 주와 함께 앉아 식사하던 사람들이 속으로 말하기를 "이 사람이 누구이기에 죄들도 용서하는가?"라고 하더라.
7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
7:50 그러나 주께서 그 여인에게 말씀하시기를 "네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니 평안히 가라."고 하시더라.
