127:1 {A Song of degrees for Solomon.} Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.
127:1 {솔로몬의 올라가는 노래} 주께서 집을 짓지 아니하시면 집을 짓는 자들의 수고가 헛되며, 주께서 성읍을 지키지 아니하시면 파수꾼의 깨어 있음이 허사로다.

127:2 [It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.
127:2 너희가 일찍 일어나고 밤 늦도록 자지 않고 수고의 빵을 먹는 것도 헛되도다. 그러므로 그가 자기의 사랑하시는 자에게 잠을 주시는도다.

127:3 Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.
127:3 보라, 자녀들은 주의 유업이요, 태의 열매는 그의 보상이로다.

127:4 As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth.
127:4 화살들이 용사의 손 안에 있는 것같이 젊은이의 자녀들도 그와 같도다.

127:5 Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
127:5 화살통에 화살을 가득 채운 사람은 행복하나니, 그들이 부끄러워하지 아니하고 성문에서 원수들과 말하리로다.
