36:1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
36:1 그 후 그 땅의 백성이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 세워 예루살렘에서 그의 아버지를 대신하여 왕으로 삼았더라.
36:2 Jehoahaz [was] twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
36:2 여호아하스가 치리하기 시작할 때 이십삼 세였으며, 그가 예루살렘에서 삼 개월을 치리하였을 때
36:3 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
36:3 이집트 왕이 예루살렘에서 그를 폐위시키고, 그 땅에 은 일백 달란트와 금 한 달란트를 요구하더라.
36:4 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.
36:4 그리고 이집트 왕이 그의 형제 엘리야킴을 유다와 예루살렘을 치리하는 왕으로 삼고 그의 이름을 여호야킴이라 하였으며, 느코가 그의 형제 여호아하스를 잡아 이집트로 끌고갔더라.
36:5 Jehoiakim [was] twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
36:5 여호야킴이 치리하기 시작할 때 이십오 세였으며, 그가 예루살렘에서 십일 년을 치리 하였는데, 그가 주 그의 하나님의 목전에 악한 것을 행하였더라.
36:6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
36:6 바빌론의 느부캇넷살왕이 그를 치러 올라와서 그를 차꼬에 묶어 바빌론으로 데려가니라.
36:7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
36:7 느부캇넷살이 또 주의 전의 기명들을 바빌론으로 가져가서 바빌론에 있는 그의 신전에 두었더라.
36:8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they [are] written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
36:8 여호야킴의 나머지 행적과 그가 행하고 그에게서 발견된 그의 가증함은, 보라, 이스라엘과 유다의 열왕기에 기록되어 있느니라. 그의 아들 여호야킨이 그를 대신하여 왕이 되니라.
36:9 Jehoiachin [was] eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD.
36:9 여호야킨이 치리하기 시작할 때 팔 세였으며, 그가 예루살렘에서 삼 개월 십 일을 치리하였더라. 그가 주의 목전에 악을 행하였더라.
36:10 And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
36:10 그 해가 다 가자 느부캇넷살왕이 사람을 보내어 그를 바빌론으로 데려갔으며, 주의 전의 귀한 기명들도 함께 가져가고, 그의 형제 시드키야를 유다와 이스라엘을 치리하는 왕으로 삼았더라.
36:11 Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
36:11 시드키야가 치리하기 시작할 때 이십일 세였으며, 그가 예루살렘에서 십일 년을 치리하였더라.
36:12 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD his God, [and] humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet [speaking] from the mouth of the LORD.
36:12 그가 주 그의 하나님의 목전에 악한 것을 행하여 주의 입으로부터 받아 말하는 선지자 예레미야 앞에서 겸손하지 아니하더라.
36:13 And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
36:13 그도 자신을 하나님으로 맹세케 하였던 느부캇넷살왕에게 반역하였으나, 그의 목을 곧게 하고 그의 마음을 완고하게 하여 이스라엘의 주 하나님께로 돌이키지 아니하였더라.
36:14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
36:14 또 제사장들의 모든 우두머리와 백성도 이방의 온갖 가증함을 좇아 심히 많이 범죄하여 그 분께서 예루살렘에서 거룩하게 하셨던 주의 전을 더럽게 하였더라.
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
36:15 그들 조상의 주 하나님께서 그들에게 제 때에 사자들을 일으켜 보내셨으니, 이는 그 분께서 그의 백성과 그의 처소를 긍휼히 여기셨음이더라.
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till [there was] no remedy.
36:16 그러나 그들이 하나님의 사자들을 우롱하고 그의 말씀을 멸시하며 그의 선지자들을 학대하였으니, 주의 진노가 그의 백성에 대하여 일어나 치유의 방책이 없게 되었더라.
36:17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave [them] all into his hand.
36:17 그러므로 하나님께서 칼데아 왕을 그들에게 보내셨으니, 그가 칼로 그들의 성소에서 청년들을 죽였으며, 젊은 남자나 여자나 노인이나 늙어 허리가 굽은 사람을 긍휼히 여기지 아니하였더라. 그 분께서 그들 모두를 그의 손에 주셨더라.
36:18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all [these] he brought to Babylon.
36:18 하나님의 전의 크고 작은 모든 기명들과, 주의 전의 보물과, 왕과 왕의 고관들의 보물, 이 모든 것을 그가 바빌론으로 가져갔더라.
36:19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
36:19 또 그들이 하나님의 전을 불사르고, 예루살렘 성벽을 부수며, 불로 모든 궁들을 불사르고, 모든 귀한 기명들을 파괴하였으며
36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
36:20 칼에서 피한 자들은 바빌론으로 끌고 갔더라. 그들이 거기서 그와 그의 아들들에게 종이 되었으니 페르시아 왕국의 치리 때까지 하였더라.
36:21 To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: [for] as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
36:21 예레미야의 입을 통한 주의 말씀이 이루어져 땅이 안식하였으니, 땅이 황폐한 동안 안식년을 지켜 칠십 년을 채웠더라.
36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD [spoken] by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,
36:22 이제 페르시아의 코레스왕 원년에 예레미야의 입을 통하여 말씀하신 주의 말씀이 이루어지게 하시려고 주께서 페르시아의 코레스왕의 영을 감동시키시니, 그가 그의 왕국 전역에 포고령를 내리고 글로도 써서 말하기를
36:23 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which [is] in Judah. Who [is there] among you of all his people? The LORD his God [be] with him, and let him go up.
36:23 "페르시아의 코레스왕이 이같이 말하노라. 하늘의 주 하나님께서 세상의 모든 왕국들을 나에게 주시고 유다에 있는 예루살렘에 그를 위하여 전을 건축하라고 나에게 명하셨느니라. 너희 가운데 그의 모든 백성이 누구냐? 주 그의 하나님이 그와 함께 하시리니 그는 올라갈지니라." 하더라.
