9:1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
9:1 시바 여왕이 솔로몬의 명성를 듣고 어려운 문제들로 솔로몬을 시험하고자 예루살렘에 왔으니, 심히 많은 수행원들과 향료와 많은 금과 보석들을 실은 낙타들과 함께 왔더라. 그녀가 솔로몬에게 와서 그녀의 마음 속에 있는 모든 것을 그와 더불어 이야기하더라.
9:2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.
9:2 솔로몬이 그녀의 모든 질문에 답했으며, 솔로몬이 그녀에게 대답하지 아니하고 숨긴 것이 아무것도 없더라.
9:3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
9:3 시바 여왕이 솔로몬의 지혜와 그가 건축한 전과
9:4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
9:4 그의 식탁의 음식과 그의 신하들이 앉은 것과 그의 관료들이 도열한 것과 그들의 의복과 그의 잔 받쳐든 자들과 그들의 의복과 주의 전으로 올라가는 계단을 보고 나니 그녀에게 더이상 정신이 없더라.
9:5 And she said to the king, [It was] a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:
9:5 그녀가 솔로몬에게 말하기를 "내가 내 나라에서 당신의 행적과 당신의 지혜에 관하여 들은 보고가 사실이었나이다.
9:6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen [it]: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: [for] thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
9:6 내가 와서 내 눈으로 그것을 보기까지는 믿지 아니하였으나, 보소서, 내게 말한 것이 당신의 지혜의 위대함에 절반도 못되니, 당신은 내가 들은 명성을 능가하나이다.
9:7 Happy [are] thy men, and happy [are] these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.
9:7 항상 당신 앞에 서서 당신의 지혜를 듣는 당신의 사람들은 복되며, 당신의 이 종들은 복되나이다.
9:8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, [to be] king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
9:8 당신을 기뻐하사 그의 보좌에 세우시고 주 당신의 하나님을 위한 왕으로 삼으신 주 당신의 하나님을 송축하리로다. 이는 당신의 하나님께서 이스라엘을 사랑하사 그들을 영원히 견고하게 하시려고, 당신으로 그들을 다스릴 왕으로 삼으시어 공의와 정의를 행하게 하셨음이니이다." 하고
9:9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.
9:9 왕에게 금 일백이십 달란트와, 심히 많은 양의 향료와, 보석들을 주었으니, 시바 여왕이 솔로몬왕에게 준 것 같은 그런 향료가 없었더라.
9:10 And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.
9:10 또 오필로부터 금을 가져온 후람의 신하들과 솔로몬의 신하들이 백단향나무와 보석들도 가져왔더라.
9:11 And the king made [of] the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.
9:11 왕이 백단향나무로 주의 전과 왕궁에 테라스들을 만들고, 또 노래하는 자들을 위하여 하프와 솔터리를 만들었으니, 그런 것들은 유다 땅에서 전에는 전혀 본 적이 없는 것이더라.
9:12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside [that] which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.
9:12 솔로몬왕이 시바 여왕의 원하는 것은 무엇이든지 그녀가 원하는 대로 그녀가 왕에게 가져온 것 말고는 다 그녀에게 주니라. 그리하여 그녀가 자기 신하들과 함께 자기 나라로 돌아가니라.
9:13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
9:13 일 년 동안 솔로몬에게 들어온 금의 무게가 육백육십육 금 달란트인데
9:14 Beside [that which] chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.
9:14 그 외에도 상인들과 거상들이 가져온 것이 있고, 아라비아의 모든 왕들과 그 나라의 총독들도 금과 은을 솔로몬에게 가져왔더라.
9:15 And king Solomon made two hundred targets [of] beaten gold: six hundred [shekels] of beaten gold went to one target.
9:15 솔로몬왕은 쳐서 늘인 금으로 큰 방패 이백을 만들었는데, 한 방패에 육백 세켈의 금이 들어갔으며
9:16 And three hundred shields [made he of] beaten gold: three hundred [shekels] of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
9:16 또 쳐서 늘인 금으로 작은 방패 삼백을 만들었는데, 한 방패에 삼백 세켈의 금이 들어갔더라. 왕이 그것들을 레바논 산림의 궁에 두었더라.
9:17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.
9:17 또 왕이 상아로 큰 보좌를 만들고 순금으로 입혔으니
9:18 And [there were] six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, [which were] fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:
9:18 그 보좌에는 여섯 계단이 있고, 금으로 된 발판이 있어 보좌에 부착되었으며, 앉는 자리 양편에는 팔걸이가 있고, 팔걸이 곁에는 두 사자가 섰더라.
9:19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.
9:19 열 두 사자가 여섯 계단 이편과 저편에 섰으니, 어느 왕국에도 그같이 만든 것이 없더라.
9:20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon [were of] gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon [were of] pure gold: none [were of] silver; it was [not] any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
9:20 솔로몬왕이 마시는 모든 기명들은 금으로 만들었고, 레바논 산림 궁의 모든 기명들도 순금으로 만들었으며, 은으로 만든 것은 아무것도 없었으니, 솔로몬의 날에는 은이 가치없게 여겨졌더라.
9:21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
9:21 이는 왕의 배들이 후람의 신하들과 더불어 타시스로 가서 삼 년에 한 번씩 타시스의 배들이 금과 은과 상아와 원숭이들과 공작새들을 실어왔음이라.
9:22 And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
9:22 솔로몬왕의 재산과 지혜가 세상의 모든 왕들을 능가하였더라.
9:23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.
9:23 땅의 모든 왕이 하나님께서 솔로몬의 마음에 넣어 주신 그의 지혜를 들으려고 솔로몬을 만나 보려 하였더라.
9:24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
9:24 그들 각 사람이 예물, 즉 은 기명들과 금 기명들과 의복과 갑옷과 향료와 말과 노새를 가지고 왔으니, 해마다 등급이 있더라.
9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
9:25 솔로몬에게 말과 병거를 위한 마구간 사천과 기병 일만 이천이 있었으니, 이들을 병거 성읍들에 두었고 왕과 함께 예루살렘에도 배치하였더라.
9:26 And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.
9:26 솔로몬이 강에서부터 필리스티아인들의 땅과 이집트의 경계에 이르는 모든 왕들을 치리하였더라.
9:27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that [are] in the low plains in abundance.
9:27 왕이 예루살렘에서 은을 돌처럼, 백향목을 평지에 있는 뽕나무처럼 풍부하게 하였으며
9:28 And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.
9:28 그들이 이집트와 모든 땅에서 말들을 솔로몬에게로 가져왔더라.
9:29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, [are] they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
9:29 솔로몬의 나머지 행적의 처음과 마지막은 선지자 나단의 책과 실로인 아히야의 예언서와 선견자 잇도가 느밧의 아들 여로보암을 대적하여 쓴 환상록에 기록되어 있지 아니하냐?
9:30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.
9:30 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 온 이스라엘을 사십 년 동안 치리하니라.
9:31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
9:31 솔로몬이 그의 조상들과 함께 잠들어 그의 아버지 다윗 성읍에 장사되고, 그의 아들 르호보암이 그를 대신하여 왕이 되었더라.
9:1 시바 여왕이 솔로몬의 명성를 듣고 어려운 문제들로 솔로몬을 시험하고자 예루살렘에 왔으니, 심히 많은 수행원들과 향료와 많은 금과 보석들을 실은 낙타들과 함께 왔더라. 그녀가 솔로몬에게 와서 그녀의 마음 속에 있는 모든 것을 그와 더불어 이야기하더라.

9:12 솔로몬왕이 시바 여왕의 원하는 것은 무엇이든지 그녀가 원하는 대로 그녀가 왕에게 가져온 것 말고는 다 그녀에게 주니라. 그리하여 그녀가 자기 신하들과 함께 자기 나라로 돌아가니라.

9:20 솔로몬왕이 마시는 모든 기명들은 금으로 만들었고, 레바논 산림 궁의 모든 기명들도 순금으로 만들었으며, 은으로 만든 것은 아무것도 없었으니, 솔로몬의 날에는 은이 가치없게 여겨졌더라.
9:21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
9:21 이는 왕의 배들이 후람의 신하들과 더불어 타시스로 가서 삼 년에 한 번씩 타시스의 배들이 금과 은과 상아와 원숭이들과 공작새들을 실어왔음이라.
9:22 And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
9:22 솔로몬왕의 재산과 지혜가 세상의 모든 왕들을 능가하였더라.
