6:1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which [is] the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
6:1 이스라엘 자손이 이집트 땅에서 나온 후 사백팔십 년이요, 솔로몬이 이스라엘을 치리한 지 사 년 시브 월, 즉 둘째 달에 솔로몬이 주의 전을 건축하기 시작하니라.
6:2 And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof [was] threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty [cubits], and the height thereof thirty cubits.
6:2 솔로몬이 주를 위하여 건축한 전은 그 길이가 육십 큐빗이요, 그 너비가 이십 큐빗이며, 그 높이가 삼십 큐빗이더라.
6:3 And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits [was] the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; [and] ten cubits [was] the breadth thereof before the house.
6:3 성전 앞 현관은 전의 너비를 따라 그 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 전 앞에 있는 그 너비는 십 큐빗이며
6:4 And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
6:4 그가 또 전을 위하여 빛이 새어들어 오는 창문들을 만들었더라.
6:5 And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, [against] the walls of the house round about, [both] of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
6:5 그가 또 전의 벽을 향하여 주위에 방들을 만들었으니, 곧 성소와 지성소를 포함한 모든 주위의 벽들을 향해서더라. 그가 돌아가며 방들을 만들었으니
6:6 The nethermost chamber [was] five cubits broad, and the middle [was] six cubits broad, and the third [was] seven cubits broad: for without [in the wall] of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that [the beams] should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
6:6 아래층 방은 다섯 큐빗 너비요, 중간층 방은 여섯 큐빗 너비요, 삼층 방은 일곱 큐빗 너비더라. 그가 전의 벽 바깥에는 돌아가며 좁은 턱을 만들어 들보들이 전의 벽에 박히지 않게 하니라.
6:7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe [nor] any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
6:7 전을 지을 때 그 곳으로 가져가기 전에 미리 다듬은 돌들로 지었으므로, 건축하는 동안에 전 안에서 망치나 도끼나 어떤 철 연장 소리도 들리지 아니하였더라.
6:8 The door for the middle chamber [was] in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle [chamber], and out of the middle into the third.
6:8 전의 오른편에 중간층 방의 문이 있어, 사람들이 나선형의 계단으로 중간층 방으로 올라가고 또 중간층에서 삼층으로 올라가더라.
6:9 So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
6:9 그리하여 그가 전을 짓고 그것을 완공하여, 백향목 들보와 널판으로 전을 덮었더라.
6:10 And [then] he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house [with] timber of cedar.
6:10 또 그가 온 전을 향하여 다섯 큐빗 높이의 방들을 지었으며, 사람들이 백향목 목재로 전 위에 얹었더라.
6:11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
6:11 그때 주의 말씀이 솔로몬에게 임하여 말씀하시기를
6:12 [Concerning] this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
6:12 "네가 건축하고 있는 이 전에 관해서니, 네가 내 규례들을 따라 행하고 내 명령들을 실행하며 내 모든 계명들을 지켜 그대로 행하면, 내가 네 아비 다윗에게 말한 내 말을 너와 더불어 이행할 것이요
6:13 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
6:13 내가 이스라엘 자손 가운데 거하고, 내 백성 이스라엘을 버리지 아니하리라." 하시니라.
6:14 So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
6:14 그리하여 솔로몬이 전을 건축하고 그것을 완공하니라.
6:15 And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: [and] he covered [them] on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
6:15 솔로몬이 백향목 널판으로 전 안의 벽, 즉 전의 마루와 천정 벽을 만들고, 나무로 안쪽을 덮고, 잣나무 판으로 전의 마루를 덮었으며
6:16 And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built [them] for it within, [even] for the oracle, [even] for the most holy [place].
6:16 또 그가 전의 사면을 이십 큐빗으로 하여, 백향목 널판으로 마루와 벽을 세워 안쪽에 지성소 즉 지극히 거룩한 곳을 지으니라.
6:17 And the house, that [is], the temple before it, was forty cubits [long].
6:17 그 앞 성소에 해당하는 전은 길이가 사십 큐빗이며
6:18 And the cedar of the house within [was] carved with knops and open flowers: all [was] cedar; there was no stone seen.
6:18 전 안쪽의 백향목은 꽃잎들과 활짝 핀 꽃들로 새겨졌으니, 모두가 백향목이고 돌은 보이지 않더라.
6:19 And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
6:19 그가 또 전 안쪽에 지성소를 마련하여 주의 언약궤를 그 곳에 두었으니
6:20 And the oracle in the forepart [was] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and [so] covered the altar [which was of] cedar.
6:20 앞면에 있는 지성소는 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 너비가 이십 큐빗이며 높이가 이십 큐빗인데, 그가 그것을 정금으로 입히고 백향목으로 만든 제단도 그렇게 입혔더라.
6:21 So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
6:21 그리하여 솔로몬이 전 안을 정금으로 입히고, 지성소 앞을 금 사슬로 구분하였고 금으로 그것을 입혔더라.
6:22 And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that [was] by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
6:22 그가 온 전을 금으로 입히기를, 온 전을 끝마칠 때까지 하였으며, 또 지성소 곁에 있는 제단도 전체를 금으로 입혔더라.
6:23 And within the oracle he made two cherubims [of] olive tree, [each] ten cubits high.
6:23 또 그가 지성소 안쪽에 올리브 나무로 두 그룹을 만들었는데, 그 높이가 각각 십 큐빗이더라.
6:24 And five cubits [was] the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other [were] ten cubits.
6:24 그룹의 한쪽 날개는 다섯 큐빗이요, 다른쪽 날개도 다섯 큐빗이니, 이쪽 날개 끝부터 저쪽 날개 끝까지가 십 큐빗이더라.
6:25 And the other cherub [was] ten cubits: both the cherubims [were] of one measure and one size.
6:25 다른 그룹도 십 큐빗이며, 두 그룹이 무게와 크기가 같았으니
6:26 The height of the one cherub [was] ten cubits, and so [was it] of the other cherub.
6:26 한 그룹의 높이가 십 큐빗이고 다른 그룹의 높이도 그러하더라.
6:27 And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the [one] wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
6:27 그가 안쪽 전 안에 그룹들을 두니라. 그들이 그 그룹들의 날개를 펼치니, 한 그룹의 날개가 한쪽 벽에 닿았고, 다른 그룹의 날개는 다른쪽 벽에 닿았으며 그들의 두 날개가 전의 중앙에서 서로 닿았더라.
6:28 And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
6:28 그가 그룹들을 금으로 입히고
6:29 And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.
6:29 그룹들과 종려나무와 활짝핀 꽃을 아로새긴 모양으로 전 주위의 모든 벽의 안팎을 아로새겼으며
6:30 And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
6:30 전의 마루도 안팎을 금으로 입혔더라.
6:31 And for the entering of the oracle he made doors [of] olive tree: the lintel [and] side posts [were] a fifth part [of the wall].
6:31 또 그가 지성소의 입구에 올리브 나무로 문을 만들었으며, 인방과 그 옆 기둥은 벽의 오분의 일이더라.
6:32 The two doors also [were of] olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid [them] with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
6:32 두 문도 올리브 나무로 만들었으며, 그가 그 문들 위에 그룹들과 종려나무들과 활짝 핀 꽃의 조각으로 아로새겨 금으로 입혔고, 또 그룹들과 종려나무들 위에도 금으로 펼쳤더라.
6:33 So also made he for the door of the temple posts [of] olive tree, a fourth part [of the wall].
6:33 그가 또한 성전 문을 위하여 올리브 나무로 기둥을 만들었으니, 벽의 사분의 일이더라.
6:34 And the two doors [were of] fir tree: the two leaves of the one door [were] folding, and the two leaves of the other door [were] folding.
6:34 두 문은 잣나무로 만들었으니, 한 문은 두 짝이 접히도록 되어 있고, 다른 문의 두 짝도 접히도록 되어 있으며
6:35 And he carved [thereon] cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered [them] with gold fitted upon the carved work.
6:35 그가 그 위에 그룹들과 종려나무들과 활짝핀 꽃들을 아로새기고, 새긴 곳에 맞게 금으로 덮었더라.
6:36 And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.
6:36 또 그가 다듬은 돌 세 줄과 백향목 들보 한 줄로 안뜰을 만들었더라.
6:37 In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:
6:37 제 사년 시브 월에 주의 전의 기초가 놓였고
6:38 And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which [is] the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
6:38 제 십일년 불 월 즉 여덟째 달에 전이 그 모든 양식대로 모든 부분이 완성되었으니, 그가 전을 건축하는 데 칠 년이 걸렸더라.
6:1 이스라엘 자손이 이집트 땅에서 나온 후 사백팔십 년이요, 솔로몬이 이스라엘을 치리한 지 사 년 시브 월, 즉 둘째 달에 솔로몬이 주의 전을 건축하기 시작하니라.
6:2 And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof [was] threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty [cubits], and the height thereof thirty cubits.
6:2 솔로몬이 주를 위하여 건축한 전은 그 길이가 육십 큐빗이요, 그 너비가 이십 큐빗이며, 그 높이가 삼십 큐빗이더라.
6:3 And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits [was] the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; [and] ten cubits [was] the breadth thereof before the house.
6:3 성전 앞 현관은 전의 너비를 따라 그 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 전 앞에 있는 그 너비는 십 큐빗이며
6:4 And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
6:4 그가 또 전을 위하여 빛이 새어들어 오는 창문들을 만들었더라.
6:5 And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, [against] the walls of the house round about, [both] of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
6:5 그가 또 전의 벽을 향하여 주위에 방들을 만들었으니, 곧 성소와 지성소를 포함한 모든 주위의 벽들을 향해서더라. 그가 돌아가며 방들을 만들었으니

6:10 And [then] he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house [with] timber of cedar.
6:10 또 그가 온 전을 향하여 다섯 큐빗 높이의 방들을 지었으며, 사람들이 백향목 목재로 전 위에 얹었더라.
6:11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
6:11 그때 주의 말씀이 솔로몬에게 임하여 말씀하시기를

6:15 And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: [and] he covered [them] on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
6:15 솔로몬이 백향목 널판으로 전 안의 벽, 즉 전의 마루와 천정 벽을 만들고, 나무로 안쪽을 덮고, 잣나무 판으로 전의 마루를 덮었으며
6:16 And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built [them] for it within, [even] for the oracle, [even] for the most holy [place].
6:16 또 그가 전의 사면을 이십 큐빗으로 하여, 백향목 널판으로 마루와 벽을 세워 안쪽에 지성소 즉 지극히 거룩한 곳을 지으니라.
6:17 And the house, that [is], the temple before it, was forty cubits [long].
6:17 그 앞 성소에 해당하는 전은 길이가 사십 큐빗이며
6:18 And the cedar of the house within [was] carved with knops and open flowers: all [was] cedar; there was no stone seen.
6:18 전 안쪽의 백향목은 꽃잎들과 활짝 핀 꽃들로 새겨졌으니, 모두가 백향목이고 돌은 보이지 않더라.
6:19 And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
6:19 그가 또 전 안쪽에 지성소를 마련하여 주의 언약궤를 그 곳에 두었으니
6:20 And the oracle in the forepart [was] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and [so] covered the altar [which was of] cedar.
6:20 앞면에 있는 지성소는 길이가 이십 큐빗이요, 너비가 이십 큐빗이며 높이가 이십 큐빗인데, 그가 그것을 정금으로 입히고 백향목으로 만든 제단도 그렇게 입혔더라.
6:21 So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
6:21 그리하여 솔로몬이 전 안을 정금으로 입히고, 지성소 앞을 금 사슬로 구분하였고 금으로 그것을 입혔더라.
6:22 And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that [was] by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
6:22 그가 온 전을 금으로 입히기를, 온 전을 끝마칠 때까지 하였으며, 또 지성소 곁에 있는 제단도 전체를 금으로 입혔더라.
6:23 And within the oracle he made two cherubims [of] olive tree, [each] ten cubits high.
6:23 또 그가 지성소 안쪽에 올리브 나무로 두 그룹을 만들었는데, 그 높이가 각각 십 큐빗이더라.
6:24 And five cubits [was] the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other [were] ten cubits.
6:24 그룹의 한쪽 날개는 다섯 큐빗이요, 다른쪽 날개도 다섯 큐빗이니, 이쪽 날개 끝부터 저쪽 날개 끝까지가 십 큐빗이더라.
6:25 And the other cherub [was] ten cubits: both the cherubims [were] of one measure and one size.
6:25 다른 그룹도 십 큐빗이며, 두 그룹이 무게와 크기가 같았으니
6:26 The height of the one cherub [was] ten cubits, and so [was it] of the other cherub.
6:26 한 그룹의 높이가 십 큐빗이고 다른 그룹의 높이도 그러하더라.
6:27 And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the [one] wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

6:28 And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
6:28 그가 그룹들을 금으로 입히고
6:29 And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.
6:29 그룹들과 종려나무와 활짝핀 꽃을 아로새긴 모양으로 전 주위의 모든 벽의 안팎을 아로새겼으며
6:30 And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
6:30 전의 마루도 안팎을 금으로 입혔더라.

6:33 So also made he for the door of the temple posts [of] olive tree, a fourth part [of the wall].
6:33 그가 또한 성전 문을 위하여 올리브 나무로 기둥을 만들었으니, 벽의 사분의 일이더라.
6:34 And the two doors [were of] fir tree: the two leaves of the one door [were] folding, and the two leaves of the other door [were] folding.
6:34 두 문은 잣나무로 만들었으니, 한 문은 두 짝이 접히도록 되어 있고, 다른 문의 두 짝도 접히도록 되어 있으며
6:35 And he carved [thereon] cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered [them] with gold fitted upon the carved work.
6:35 그가 그 위에 그룹들과 종려나무들과 활짝핀 꽃들을 아로새기고, 새긴 곳에 맞게 금으로 덮었더라.
